Why don’t I see videos on a course (cookies blocked)?

Why do I see the message “Your browser is blocking third-party cookies which are required to view and manage videos in Kaltura”?
Some browsers block third-party cookies by default. This can prevent Kaltura videos from playing.

If you see a blank video or an error message, please allow cookies in your browser using the steps below. Accept marketing cookies to see Youtube-videos.

Allow cookies as follows:

Chrome (Windows / macOS / Android)
Open chrome://settings/cookies
Select Allow all cookies (or Don’t block third-party cookies)
Refresh the page.

Firefox
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security
Choose the Standard protection level (not “Strict”)
Refresh the page.

Safari (iPhone / iPad / macOS)
Go to Settings → Safari
Uncheck Prevent cross-site tracking
Refresh the page.

Note: In older Chrome versions, you can also ensure the following flags are set to Disabled:

How do I clear cache and old cookies in my browser?

If videos, login, or certificates don’t work properly, clear your browser cache and old cookies:

Chrome: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData

Firefox: Settings → Privacy → Clear Data

Safari: Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data

Why can’t I see my course after logging in?

Go to the My Account menu, where you can find your courses under My Courses.

What should I do if login is not working?

Make sure your username and password are entered correctly.
If you forgot your password, click Forgot password? on the login page and follow the instructions.

Why does the site’s language appear partly in Finnish or English?

The display language depends on your browser’s language settings and whether the course is available in multiple languages.
You can switch your browser’s default language to English or Finnish as needed.
